2002 Richland Business Retention and Expansion Survey Results of a survey of 500 Richland businesses conducted in August 2002. Compares responses to the 2001 survey responses. Cooperative effort between the City of Richland Chamber of Commerce and Washington State University-Tri Cities.
2003 Strategic Economic Development Plan In 2003, the City completed work on a new strategic economic development plan. The plan was developed by Taimerica Management, Inc. of Mandeville, LA.
2004 Economic Development Element to the City of Richland Comprehensive Plan The State of Washington mandates that manicipalities update their comprehensive plans every seven years. The City first included an economic development element in its 1997 plan. This 2004 draft has been approved by the City's Planning Commision for inclusion in its 2006 plan.
2005 Economic Development Action Plan and Strategic Planning Framework The Office of Business and Economic Development prepares an annual Action Plan which describes the office's strategic planning framework, vision and mission statements, action strategies, and specific activities to be completed during the year.
2005 Richland Business Retention and Expansion Survey Results of a survey of 547 Richland businesses conducted in May and June 2005. Compares the current responses to the 2001 and 2002 survey responses. This was a cooperative effort between the City of Richland Chamber of Commerce and Washington State University-Tri Cities.
Economic Development Status Report The Office of Business and Economic Development (OBED) updates this status report on a quarterly basis. The status report incorporates action items identified in the 2003 Strategic Plan and the 2005 OBED Action Plan.
