    Power Operations

    The City of Richland's Power Operations Division is responsible for maintenance and construction of power lines. Our employees respond to power outages no matter what time of day it is or how bad the weather is. Our crews are made up of Crew Foremen, Electrical Dispatchers, Journeyman Linemen, Equipment Operators, and Groundmen.

    Technical Services

    The Technical Services Division is responsible for maintenance of traffic signals, school zone signals, radios, including telemetry
    and voice.  They are also responsible for the electrical maintenance to all City owned buildings, which includes parks, boat docks, water system and wastewater system.  Our employees are Electronic and Instrumentation Technicians, Industrial Electricians, and System Electricians.

    Systems

    The Systems Division is responsible for maintenance and installation of electrical meters, substation maintenance, transformer maintenance, and meter reading. Our employees are Journeyman Metermen, Journeyman Substation Electricians, Locator, and Meter Readers.
