Bateman Island (160.0 acres). Located at the confluence of the Yakima River with the Columbia River. Access to the island is from Columbia Park Trail just south of North Columbia Center Boulevard. The island has dirt walking trails (motor vehicles are not allowed), fishing, wildlife and vegetation viewing.
