The City of Richland has been busy working on a series of park planning, construction and renovation projects. Check back on progress, this page is updated regularly!
Babe Ruth Complex at Hanford Legacy Park. Dugouts and fencing work is complete.
SR-240 Multi-Purpose Trail, Van Geisen to Stevens. Design is complete and plans will be submitted to WSDOT for their review and approval.
Badger Mountain Community Park. Staff is waiting for the contract from RCO which is necessary to commence any design/construction work.
Community Gardens at McMurray Park. All the available garden plots have been reserved for the 2010 gardening season. Eighteen individuals are gardening 1,900 square feet.
Sharefest 2010 - Parks and Facilities Projects Completed. Volunteers donated 500 to 600 hours to 13 park, trail and entryway projects in Richland during the annual Sharefest event on March 20.
· Jadwin Stevens Triangle Cleanup: Prayer Watch Christian Center.
· By-Pass Shelterbelt clean-up: Quinault Baptist Church.

· Remove Chain Link fence at Greater Years Park: Central Church and First Presbyterian Church.
· Install new bollards along Keene Road Trail: Richland Nazarene.
· Paint Sturgeon Cove Playground: South Hills Church.
· Clean-up of Stevens Drive buffer strip: Cathedral of Joy.
· Install log fence in Leslie Groves Park: Pasco Church of the Nazarene.
·
· Replace rock at George Washington Way/Aaron Drive intersection: Quinault Baptist Church, Good News Church and First Presbyterian Church.
· Crested Hills Park slope clean-up: Boy Scout Troop 128.
· Parkway clean-up: Westside Church.
· Riverfront Trail clean-up: South Hills Church, Meadow Springs Presbyterian and First Baptist Church.
