Located at 500 Amon Park Drive, the 21,335 square foot Communtiy Center contains the Administrative, Park Planning and Capital Projects Division and Recreation Division offices of the Parks and Recreation Department. The Center was designed to serve the recreational needs of every age group, supported by a May 1999 voter approved $3.9 million bond issue. The Center is adjacent to Howard Amon Park with a spectacular view of the Columbia River. The Center contains the Riverview Room, Kitchen, Game Room, Lounge, Computer Lab, Meeting Room, Arts and Crafts Room, Wellness Room, Activity Room and Fitness Room.
