NOTICE: Starting in May 2009 Richland's electric utility customers began receiving a credit on their monthly electric utility bills. It was anticipated the credit would run for approximately one year. The funds set aside for the temporary billing credit will be fully disbursed as of May 30, 2010, or very soon thereafter. Beginning with bills issued in early June, the credit will no longer apply.
Richland is a full service city providing many utility services. The City combines charges for those services on one convenient monthly bill for:
- Electricity
- Water
- Sewer
- Garbage
- Stormwater (as appropriate for each property)
- Street Utility (as appropriate for each property)
- Rental lighting/security lighting
- Ambulance
