Entry Level Police Officer with no previous law enforcement experience:

The City of Richland contracts with Public Safety Testing to conduct the initial testing process for the recruitment of Police Officers.  The testing and application process is continuous.

From the Public Safety Testing website, applicants will be able to apply online with the City of Richland.  Please visit www.publicsafetytesting.com to complete an application and to select the testing date, time and location most convenient for you.  You may also contact Public Safety Testing toll-free at 1-866-HIRE-911. 

Lateral Entry Police Officer with previous law enforcement experience:

The City of Richland hires lateral entry officers. Periodic testing is done to maintain a current list.  Contact the Human Resources Department for current job opportunities.
