Boards, Commissions & Committees
Serving on a board, commission or committee is one way members of the public can volunteer and get involved with their city government. The boards, commissions and committees serve mostly in an advisory capacity to the City Council, but some also hear appeals, provide expertise, advocate, receive public concerns, or establish, review and enforce policies and regulations. All appointments to boards, commissions and committees are made by the City Council.
Richland Municipal Code for Boards, Commissions & Committees found under Section 2.04.110.
