It is on a day like today that we come together as a community to mourn the tragedy of those families in Connecticut. Each one of us as parents and family members struggle to understand how something this horrific could happen and how profoundly this affects us all. The Richland Police Department is committed to the safety of one of our most precious gifts, our children. We will continue to be vigilant about keeping you safe and this event only further strengthens our resolve. The Richland Police Department joins all of you with thoughts and prayers for those families who lives are forever changed.

Here is a short Active Shooter Public Announcement Video to watch and share.
