Citizens are Encouraged to Take Survey Regarding Lower Snake River Dams
Governor Inslee’s Office is conducting a study on the effects of both retaining and breaching the Lower Snake River Dams (LSRD) and is seeking comments from Washington citizens. Richland citizens are encouraged to participate as the results from this study will provide input on the Columbia River System Operations Draft Environmental Impact Statement. Retaining the LSRDs is important to Richland as we benefit from low-cost, carbon-free, hydropower; safe, efficient navigation and irrigation; and a strong economy and quality of life.
