The City of Richland will delay opening offices and facilities until 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, for an annual all-employee meeting. Richland City Hall, Administrative Annex, Development Services Building, Richland Community Center, Fire and Police Offices, Human Resources, Shops Facilities, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, and Horn Rapids Landfill are all affected. The Richland Public Library will open at its regularly scheduled time of 9:30 a.m.
Police, fire and emergency services personnel will continue to respond to emergency calls.
Through the years, Richland has become a full-service city, providing general government services, including police and fire protection, water, waste and electric utilities, parks and recreational activities, maintenance of city streets and public facilities and library services. The city also pursues community and economic development and offers housing assistance.
