Badger Mountain South, a master-planned community of 1,480 acres, is intended to develop with 5,000 homes, businesses and other community activities. The Badger Mountain South Land Use Development Regulations are intended to (1) implement the land use elements of the Badger Mountain South Master Agreement approved by the City Council on December 7, 2010, and (2) realize the goals and objectives which apply specifically to Badger Mountain South of the Badger Mountain Subarea Plan, adopted by the City Council on September 7, 2010.
LATEST ACTIVITIES The plat of West Vineyard, a 156 lot subdivision was the first residential subdivision constructed in the northwest quadrant of the Badger Mountain South community. Just south of West Vineyards and Ava Way is the Venito Villaggio, a commercial development area that consists of 40 lots. The Country Mercantile Store is located within the developing area. Most recently, the first phases of the residential subdivision of West Village have begun construction. At full build-out this subdivision will include 558 single family lots along with two tracts reserved for multi-family development. The West Village plat is also adjacent to a future City park site and a future school site.
