CITY OF RICHLAND NOTICE OF APPLICATION AND PUBLIC HEARING (S2017-100)

Notice is hereby given that Viking Builders LLC on January 27, 2017, filed an application for preliminary plat approval to subdivide an approximately 49 acre site into 62 single family residential lots (Preliminary Plat of The Reserve at Summerview Terrace). The proposed plat is located immediately south of the intersection of Ferrara Lane and Sicily Lane. The proposed plat would have an average lot size of 13,054 square feet.

Notice is also given that the City of Richland has determined that this proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request. This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2); the lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days.

The Richland Hearings Examiner, on Thursday, March 23, 2017, will conduct a public hearing and review of the application at 6:00 p.m. in the Richland City Hall Council Chambers, 505 Swift Boulevard. All interested parties are invited to attend and present testimony at the public hearing.

Any person desiring to express their views or to be notified of any decisions pertaining to this application should notify Shane O’Neill, Senior Planner, 840 Northgate Drive, Richland, WA 99352. Comments may also be faxed to (509) 942-7587 or emailed to soneill@ci.richland.wa.us. Written comments should be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 to be incorporated into the staff report. Comments received after that date will be entered into the record at the hearing.

The application will be reviewed in accordance with the regulations in RMC Title 19 Development Regulations Administration and Tile 24 Plats and Subdivisions. Appeal procedures of decisions related to the above referenced application are set forth in RMC Chapter 19.70. CITY OF RICHLAND NOTICE OF APPLICATION AND SEPA DETERMINATION (S2017-101)

Notice is hereby given that Mark Bauder on February 3, 2017, filed an application for preliminary plat approval to subdivide an approximately 140.3 acre site into 203 single family residential lots (Preliminary Plat of Westcliffe Heights). The proposed plat is located north of N. Jurupa Street and south of Morency Court, in an area locally referred to as Little Badger Mountain. The proposed plat would have an average lot size of 14.557 square feet.

Notice is also given that the City of Richland has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS). An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c).  This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency.  This information is available to the public on request.  This MDNS is issued under WAC 197-11-350; the lead agency will not act on this proposal until March 22, 2017

Further notice will be given establishing the date on which a public hearing will be held before the Hearings Examiner.

CITY OF RICHLAND NOTICE OF APPLICATION & PUBLIC HEARING

 

Notice is hereby given that Steve and Susan McDonald have submitted an application to rezone a 14.5 acre site located south of Reata Road, approximately .4 mile west of Leslie Road from R1-10 Single Family Residential to C-3 General Commercial.

A public hearing on the proposed rezone will be held before the Hearing Examiner on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers, 505 Swift Blvd., Richland WA 99352.
