The City of Richland will delay opening offices and facilities until 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, for an annual all-employee meeting. Richland City Hall, Administrative Annex, Development Services Building, Richland Community Center, Fire and Police Offices, Human Resources, Shops Facilities, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, and Horn Rapids Landfill are all affected. The Richland Public Library will open at its regularly scheduled time of 9:30 a.m.

Police, fire and emergency services personnel will continue to respond to emergency calls.

Shoreline Master Program Update


The City has completed the process of updating its Shoreline Master Program (SMP) under the provisions of the Washington State Shoreline Management Act. The new program has been reviewed and approved by the Washington State Department of Ecology and becomes effective as of May 3, 2016. A copy of the new program is provided below:
