IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The City of Richland will delay opening offices and facilities until 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, for an annual all-employee meeting. Richland City Hall, Administrative Annex, Development Services Building, Richland Community Center, Fire and Police Offices, Human Resources, Shops Facilities, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, and Horn Rapids Landfill are all affected. The Richland Public Library will open at its regularly scheduled time of 9:30 a.m.

Police, fire and emergency services personnel will continue to respond to emergency calls.

The Human Resources Division is responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, labor contracts, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Providing guidance and direction to management and employees in all human resources functions.
  • Supporting the goals and key objectives of City Council to fulfill the city’s workplace needs as economic conditions continue to change.

The Human Resources staff is fully committed to providing the support and services needed to facilitate recruitment, staffing, compensation, performance management, benefits, development and training, and labor relations. This includes maintaining effective working relationships with all city departments, outside organizations and the general public.
