For May 11 - 17, 2019

Swift Boulevard;

  • Between Stevens Drive and George Washington Way, the north half of the roadway will be closed. Traffic will be open to one lane in each direction on the south half of the existing roadway. Pedestrian traffic on the north side will also be restricted requiring pedestrians to cross at existing intersections to use the pedestrian facilities on the south. All business access will be open to traffic. Expect minor traffic delays or avoid this section of roadway if possible
  • Goethals, north of Swift, will have limited lane(s) of traffic starting Wednesday May 15.  Northbound traffic will be allowed with limited and / or closed southbound traffic.   

Orchard Way (between Peachtree & Orchard Court) and High Meadows (between Leslie and Inverness Court): Contractor will begin a water system project with installation of private PRVs at each residence.  Street will remain open to traffic during this work with periodic sidewalk closures. 

Queensgate Drive & Columbia Park Trail, Contractors will be working in the center of the roundabout throughout the week completing site restoration efforts. Watch for the intermittent stopping of traffic for equipment access.  

Amon Park Drive, Amon Park Drive south of Lee Blvd. will be closed to traffic beginning April 8th.  A detour from Lee Blvd. to the Richland Community Center will be posted. 

Lee Blvd., Lee Blvd. east of George Washington Way will be temporarily closed for utility work beginning the week of April 15th.  Access to the local businesses along Lee will still be available.

Duportail Bridge Phase 1, Duportail Street, between Queensgate Drive and City View Drive, and between SR 240 and Tanglewood Drive, the Duportail Bridge is under construction. Roads are closed to through traffic. Residents affected by construction may experience minor delays.
