2016 Art Recognition Award for Contributions in Support of the Arts

The Richland Arts Commission is accepting nominations for two annual awards to recognize local contributions made in support of the arts. This award is intended to distinguish two recipients for their outstanding contribution and support of the arts in Richland, Washington. The awards will be presented to one individual and to one organization (for profit or not-for-profit) annually. The award is made for the year prior.

Nominations are due by May 15, 2017

The Arts Commission supports City Council in encouraging and supporting art within Richland to improve the quality of life, strengthen economic development and revitalize the community. It is an advisory body to City Council and staff to provide expertise on visual, performing and literary arts to enrich the cultural life of the community.

Special Programs

Richland Arts Commission Partnership Program Application

The City of Richland will designate up to $4,000 total for annually to provide matching fund grants to encourage and support art in Richland. This designation is a one-year pilot to evaluate the benefit of an Art Partnership Program.
