Activities

The Arts Commission supports City Council in encouraging and supporting art within Richland to improve the quality of life, strengthen economic development and revitalize the community. It is an advisory body to City Council and staff to provide expertise on visual and performing arts to enrich the cultural life of the community.

The Arts Commission annually asks the community to submit nominations to honor one individual and one organization for their contribution to the Arts community. For more information on these annual awards, visit the Art Recognition Award page.
