Construction Traffic Delays

Citywide, Electrical Line crews will be repairing street lights throughout the year. Sidewalks, driveways and street access may be impacted periodically.  

Citywide, Street Maintenance crews will be installing wheelchair ramps with sidewalk work in various locations.

South Richland Area, Street Crews with be applying “Crack Seal treatments” to residential streets. 

George Washington Way, crews will be installing pedestrian crossing improvements on George Washington Way and Jadwin Avenue.  

Kingsgate Way, at First Street, a contractor will be working along the shoulders and widening the radius at the intersection throughout the week. 

Kingsgate Way, Logston Blvd and Robertson Drive, a pathway is being constructed along the north side of SR-240. Traffic control may be in place at these intersections when work is taking place. Roadways will remain open with limited disruption. 

Wright Street at Humphreys and Humphreys from Wright to Cottonwood, a contractor will begin construction of a new water transmission main, starting at the intersection of Wright and Humphreys.  Humphreys will be closed to through traffic during construction.  The intersection of Wright & Humphreys will be open with flaggers controlling the intersection.

Leslie Road between Chaparral and Mountain View, a contractor will be working on replacement of storm drainage pipes, Wednesday through Friday.  Traffic will remain open with flaggers.

Adair Drive, south of Kranichwood Street, a contractor will be installing new storm drainage pipe.  Street will be closed to through traffic during the work.
