Notice: The City of Richland offers several recycling drop-box locations throughout the City.  Effective, August 3, the recycling drop-box located between Walmart and Home Depot at the 2800 block of Duportail Street, will no longer be in operation. At this time, an alternative location has not been determined.   

 

Curbside recycling service is offered to both residents and businesses for a small charge. Recyclables can also be dropped off at neighborhood collection containers or directly to Clayton Ward Recycling.

Co-mingled and/or cardboard recycling is available to Richland schools. For more information, see the Solid Waste Page and choose Commercial Recycling Services, or call 942-7700.

Miscellaneous Recycling Tips

Miscellaneous Recycling - incudes batteries, computers, greeting cards, tires, packing peanuts, etc.

Eyeglass (prescription) can be recycled at optical collection boxes. Drop them off at Costco Optical or contact your own optometrist for a location.
