Paving and bridge deck repair may cause minor nighttime delays on State Route 240 near the George Washington Way interchange.
Next week construction on the Queensgate Drive improvement projects is scheduled to begin. Contractors have already started site preparations for this effort.

Due to operational issues associated with our main sewage pump station, the comfort stations are closed. There are 4 portable restrooms available for public use. The boat pump-outs are now operational.

The metal recycling containers that were located off Duportail, between Walmart and Home Depot, have been relocated near the Park and Ride lot, off Columbia Park Trail, and Tulip and Windmill Roads. The containers are at the end of Windmill Road, where there is ample room to safely unload. The previous location was terminated due to increased traffic and pedestrian safety concerns.

(NYSE: CAG) announced today that its Lamb Weston business will expand operations at its facility in Richland, Wash., with the addition of a new french fry processing line. The more than $200 million investment is expected to add 128 full time positions.

The City of Richland is embarking on a new project that moves City Hall and the fire station to make way for more commercial development along George Washington Way, while replacing the city’s aging buildings.
